The funds, deployed through <strong data-start=\"394\" data-end=\"426\">GE Vernova T&amp;D India Limited<\/strong>, aim to strengthen the company\u2019s ability to meet rising power infrastructure demands in India and other emerging economies.<\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"552\" data-end=\"1021\">The investment will support the expansion of <strong data-start=\"597\" data-end=\"613\">GE Vernova\u2019s<\/strong> facility in <strong data-start=\"626\" data-end=\"650\">Chennai (Pallavaram)<\/strong> and the establishment of a new <strong data-start=\"682\" data-end=\"719\">engineering and test lab in Noida<\/strong>. These sites will produce and validate high-voltage equipment including <strong data-start=\"792\" data-end=\"830\">HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current)<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"835\" data-end=\"896\">FACTS (Flexible Alternating Current Transmission Systems)&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2014 key technologies for stabilizing power grids, reducing losses, and integrating renewable energy sources like wind and solar.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1023\" data-end=\"1274\">\u201c<strong data-start=\"1024\" data-end=\"1088\">India continues to be a critical part of our global strategy<\/strong>,\u201d said <strong data-start=\"1096\" data-end=\"1113\">Johan Bindele<\/strong>, Vice President of Grid Systems Integration at GE Vernova. \u201cDemand has surged, and these expansions will help us deliver faster and smarter solutions globally.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1276\" data-end=\"1545\"><strong data-start=\"1276\" data-end=\"1296\">Sandeep Zanzaria<\/strong>, Managing Director and CEO of <strong data-start=\"1327\" data-end=\"1359\">GE Vernova T&amp;D India Limited<\/strong>, added that the investment comes at a pivotal time as India scales up renewable energy. \u201cWe are strengthening our ability to move more power, more sustainably, across longer distances.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1547\" data-end=\"1834\">The Chennai site will manufacture critical components such as <strong data-start=\"1609\" data-end=\"1628\">LCC HVDC valves<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1633\" data-end=\"1655\">VSC STATCOM valves<\/strong>, while the Noida lab will focus on testing and control systems.
