The 58,000-square-foot addition was launched during a groundbreaking ceremony attended by <strong data-start=\"901\" data-end=\"933\">Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe<\/strong> and other local officials.<\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"962\" data-end=\"1317\">The project is part of <strong data-start=\"985\" data-end=\"1007\">Schneider Electric<\/strong>\u2019s broader U.S. investment strategy announced earlier this year, aimed at supporting national energy infrastructure and data center development. The Columbia expansion will increase production capacity for molded case and air circuit breakers while improving operational efficiency and supply chain resilience.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1319\" data-end=\"1584\">\u201cThe U.S. is experiencing growing demand needed to power AI and energy infrastructure,\u201d said <strong data-start=\"1412\" data-end=\"1434\">Agustin Lopez Diaz<\/strong>, Senior Vice President, Global Supply Chain North America at <strong data-start=\"1496\" data-end=\"1518\">Schneider Electric<\/strong>. \u201cThis expansion reflects our commitment to meeting that demand.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1586\" data-end=\"1737\">Governor <strong data-start=\"1595\" data-end=\"1609\">Mike Kehoe<\/strong> welcomed the investment, citing Missouri\u2019s strong business climate and the company&#8217;s long-standing contributions to the region.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1739\" data-end=\"2052\">The Columbia site is one of several locations benefiting from what <strong data-start=\"1806\" data-end=\"1828\">Schneider Electric<\/strong> describes as the largest single capital investment in its 135+ year U.S. history.
