The facility will deliver <strong data-start=\"308\" data-end=\"319\">13.2 MW<\/strong> of critical IT capacity and will feature advanced <strong data-start=\"370\" data-end=\"391\">waterless cooling<\/strong> technology to meet high-density compute demands with minimal environmental impact.<\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"476\" data-end=\"796\">The project is being developed in partnership with <strong data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"548\">Burns &amp; McDonnell<\/strong>, a global design-build firm, and is expected to be completed within 24 months. Once operational, <strong data-start=\"646\" data-end=\"666\">Edged Des Moines<\/strong> will join a growing network of sustainable data centers across North America, including cities like Chicago, Dallas, and Phoenix.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"798\" data-end=\"1089\">According to <strong data-start=\"811\" data-end=\"829\">Bryant Farland<\/strong>, CEO of Edged, the facility will save over <strong data-start=\"873\" data-end=\"913\">52 million gallons of water annually<\/strong>, using a <strong data-start=\"923\" data-end=\"964\">closed-loop, air-based cooling system<\/strong> that can support rack densities up to <strong data-start=\"1003\" data-end=\"1013\">200 kW<\/strong>. The company claims an average design <strong data-start=\"1052\" data-end=\"1067\">PUE of 1.15<\/strong> across its portfolio.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1091\" data-end=\"1380\">The Ankeny facility is part of Edged\u2019s broader mission to deliver <strong data-start=\"1157\" data-end=\"1198\">eco-friendly, AI-ready infrastructure<\/strong> tailored to hyperscalers and large enterprises.
