The initiative is projected to generate over <strong data-start=\"927\" data-end=\"963\">$6 billion in private investment<\/strong> and create more than 1,900 short-term, family-supporting jobs.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1028\" data-end=\"1268\">The projects also include more than <strong data-start=\"1064\" data-end=\"1092\">$300 million in benefits<\/strong> for disadvantaged communities, as defined by the <strong data-start=\"1142\" data-end=\"1175\">Climate Justice Working Group<\/strong>, and are expected to bring substantial public health improvements by reducing air pollution.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1270\" data-end=\"1400\">\u201cThis is part of the foundation of New York\u2019s plan to transform to a zero-emission electricity system,\u201d said <strong data-start=\"1379\" data-end=\"1398\">Governor Hochul<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1402\" data-end=\"1585\"><strong data-start=\"1402\" data-end=\"1413\">NYSERDA<\/strong> President and CEO <strong data-start=\"1432\" data-end=\"1452\">Doreen M.
