The financing will support the development and modernization of the group\u2019s energy distribution networks, incorporating smart grid technology.<\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"607\" data-end=\"910\">The loan is part of the investment project G3.1.4 &#8220;Support for the National Energy System (Energy Support Fund)&#8221; under component G (RePowerEU). Funds will facilitate network upgrades, communication system expansion, and ICT solutions to enhance grid efficiency across <strong data-start=\"875\" data-end=\"894\">Enea Operator\u2019s<\/strong> operating area.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"912\" data-end=\"1205\"><strong data-start=\"912\" data-end=\"932\">Jakub Jaworowski<\/strong>, Minister of State Assets, emphasized the importance of this funding for Poland\u2019s energy security and renewable energy growth. The project will connect additional megawatts from renewable sources, aligning with Poland\u2019s climate goals and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1207\" data-end=\"1459\">The loan, with a 0.5% annual interest rate, will be disbursed between 2025 and 2036, with principal repayments from 2034 to 2050.
