The installation comprises five solar projects that together generate 515 GWh annually\u2014enough to power over 150,000 Spanish homes.<\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"356\" data-end=\"615\">The project, declared of strategic interest by the <strong data-start=\"407\" data-end=\"429\">Junta de Andaluc\u00eda<\/strong>, features 400,000 bifacial solar panels equipped with trackers. The development has created 800 direct and indirect jobs and involved 14 companies, with more than half based in Seville.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"617\" data-end=\"954\">According to <strong data-start=\"630\" data-end=\"647\">Olivier Jouny<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"649\" data-end=\"702\">Senior Vice President Renewables at TotalEnergies<\/strong>, the project supports Spain\u2019s goal of achieving 80% renewable energy in its electricity mix by 2030. The majority of the energy produced will be sold through long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs), with the remainder entering the wholesale market.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"956\" data-end=\"1262\">The solar plant is part of <strong data-start=\"983\" data-end=\"1001\">TotalEnergies\u2019<\/strong> broader strategy to build a diversified and resilient <strong data-start=\"1056\" data-end=\"1076\">Integrated Power<\/strong> portfolio, which includes renewables and flexible assets like CCGTs and storage.
