ERMCO Expands U.S. Operations with New Wisconsin Hub
Electric Research and Manufacturing Cooperative, Inc. (ERMCO) has acquired a 158,000-square-foot industrial facility at Bristol Business Park in Bristol, Wisconsin, strengthening its domestic manufacturing footprint and commitment to energy infrastructure modernization.
Previously leased in May 2024, the facility officially began operations in April 2025. The Class A industrial space, located in Building 4 of the modern business park, features 32-foot clear heights, 30 expandable dock doors, 215 parking spaces, and 4,000 amps of power. Its location near Interstate 94 and the Illinois-Wisconsin border offers efficient access to regional and national markets.
The acquisition reinforces ERMCO’s strategy to support utility partners and renewable energy providers with high-efficiency transformer solutions. The site will serve as the company’s dedicated hub for Amorphous core technology, aiding its alignment with the U.S. Department of Energy’s 2029 efficiency standards.
Backed by domestic sources of amorphous and grain-oriented electrical steel, ERMCO aims to strengthen supply chain stability while contributing to grid resilience and energy security across North America.
The transaction was facilitated by Cushman & Wakefield, with Sean Kropke and Keith Puritz representing ERMCO.
