PGC Unveils Advanced Distribution Center in Locust Grove, Georgia
Power Grid Components (PGC), a Blackstone portfolio company and leading provider of utility and telecom components, has officially opened a new 250,000-square-foot distribution center in Locust Grove, Georgia. The state-of-the-art facility is set to play a critical role in enhancing PGC’s North American logistics and supply chain capabilities.
Strategically located southeast of Atlanta, the distribution center is designed to improve shipping efficiency and reduce lead times for essential components used in the electrical grid and telecom infrastructure. It will serve as a centralized logistics hub for PGC’s subsidiaries, streamlining planning and execution across the network.
The facility features 38 cross-dock doors for rapid turnaround, a dedicated warehouse team, and a modern lab equipped for mechanical and electrical testing. A new product showcase area has also been integrated to highlight PGC's innovations.
“This investment is a key step in our multi-year program to strengthen the global supply chain,” said Rob Johnson, Chief Operating Officer at PGC. “We’re committed to providing reliable, high-quality components while enabling a resilient electrical infrastructure for North America.”
Chris Faust, Chief Commercial Officer, added, “This expansion allows us to meet growing demand with faster, more efficient service. It reinforces our commitment to exceptional customer experience.”
This development underscores PGC's continued investment in infrastructure to support long-term growth, resilience, and customer satisfaction across the utility and telecom sectors.
